Glasgow based Artist, Art teacher.
I graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone in 1996 as a ceramicist but never abandoned weekly life drawing. When I started teaching high school, I felt that painting practice would only assist in my teaching. I started daily and have painted constantly since that decision in 2007. Although I have focused mainly on the human form, I feel that I am traveling in a more autobiographical direction.
I also enjoy the occasional commission to push me out of my comfort zone. Every painting feels like I am still at the start of my journey.
